Summary
Melissa Strickland was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia,
before receiving her undergraduate degree in Risk Management
& Insurance from the University of Georgia in 2000. She
also received her law degree from the University of Georgia,
with honors, in 2003. While in law school, Ms. Strickland was
active in the moot court program. She was a member of the 2002
Prince Evidence Competition National Championship team and also
served as the Executive Chair of the University of Georgia Moot
Court Board in 2002-2003.
Before joining Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, Ms. Strickland
spent three years practicing law with Powell Goldstein LLP in
Atlanta, where she specialized in civil litigation, representing
both individual and corporate clients.
